What I need from you

• A valid, government-issued photo ID for the signer.

• The signer must be present with me at the signing, and willing to sign.

• The signer needs to understand what they're signing. I'm not a doctor or an attorney, and I can't decide for anyone, but a notary may need to decline if there are concerns about a signer's awareness or willingness, or if someone seems to be pressured.

• Please have the documents ready, and tell me about any facility check-in or visiting procedures.
